Abstract

This is the story of the making of a book that is a pinnacle in the work of André Franquin. It's a book that will be at the heart of a series of crises that the author will go through, revealing many of the particularities of this era and of the profession of comic strip author. It's a pivotal story, and a fascinating one to reread.
