Collège de France Award for Young Researchers
Since 2022, the Collège de France has awarded the Collège de France Award annually to a young researcher selected for the excellence of their career and the innovative nature of their contributions to public research. The award includes a cash award of 20,000 euros and an invitation to deliver a public lecture at the Collège de France. A bronze medal from the Collège de France is also presented to the winner.
As a leading institution in French research, the Collège de France seeks to encourage excellence and the most daring research among the next generation of scientists.
In keeping with the multidisciplinary spirit of the Collège de France, the Collège de France Award alternates annually between a laureate in the fields of mathematics, computer science, physics, and the natural sciences, and one in the humanities and social sciences. Candidates must have defended their dissertation within the last seven years and be employed at a public research laboratory in France.
