Abstract

" La Marque jaune " is one of the most iconic stories in the history of Belgian comics. In this modern tale in thriller form, Edgar P. Jacobs uses visual rhetoric to impress his readers. Drawing on the sources of fantasy novels and Expressionist films, the author has above all invested his medium with the highest standards.
