Ouzi Elyada

Ouzi Elyada is Professor in the History and Communication Departments at the University of Haifa. He is a specialist in Hebrew cultural and media history (19th-20thcenturies ). He has studied the birth and evolution of the popular Hebrew press in Israel between 1884 and 1948, and the political use of this press in the confrontation between the Zionist right and left in the 20thcentury . His latest book is Hebrew Popular Journalism, -Birth and Development in Ottoman Palestine, London, Routledge, 2019.
