Lionel Richard
Lionel Richard is Professor Emeritus at the Université de Picardie Jules-Verne. He has written numerous reference works on the history of Germany in the 20thcentury and on German culture. He is also responsible for the first French translations of the German poet Nelly Sachs, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1966, whom he introduced to France. He is also the author of several books of poetry.
