Frédéric Fruteau de Laclos is a senior lecturer in philosophy. He teaches at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and is a member of the Sorbonne's Centre d'histoire des philosophies modernes (Hiphimo, EA 1451). He is deputy director of this laboratory and deputy director of Éditions de la Sorbonne. His first works focused on the history of French epistemology. He is interested in the complicated relationship between philosophy and the human sciences in the 20th century. He has also worked on contemporary French thought. His latest book is La Connaissance des autres (Le Cerf, 2021).
Benoit Lépinat is an agrégé in philosophy and a secondary school teacher in Bordeaux. At the Centre d'histoire des philosophies modernes de la Sorbonne (Hiphimo, EA 1451) at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, he is preparing a thesis in philosophy under the supervision of Frédéric Fruteau de Laclos, on the links between psychology and Marxism in twentieth-century France . Her research focuses in particular on the work of Henri Wallon, Georges Politzer and Ignace Meyerson.
