Cyril Caminade
Cyril trained as a climate physicist, before specializing in the impact of global warming on health. He completed his thesis on climate variability in sub-Saharan Africa at the Université Paul-Sabatier in 2006. From 2008 to 2021, he studied the impact of global warming on numerous human and animal vector-borne diseases (malaria, dengue fever, Zika, bluetongue, etc.), at the University of Liverpool. His work is cited in IPCC reports and by numerous agencies (World Bank, WEF, UKHSA...) Since 2021, he has been modeling the impact of control methods on mosquitoes at ICTP, Trieste in Italy.
