Sandrine Mathy

Sandrine Mathy is a CNRS Senior Researcher in Environmental Economics. She heads the energy-environment department of the GAEL (Grenoble Applied Economics Lab). Her research focuses on the economic evaluation of the energy transition, climate policies and air pollution control policies. She coordinated the large interdisciplinary project MobilAir aiming to define and evaluate the environmental, health, social and economic impacts of ambitious policies to reduce air pollution. She contributed to several ministerial expert reports and to European and international projects, and has been an expert for the World Bank and the World Resource Institute. She is a member of the French Economic Commission for Sustainable Development.
