Abstract

The humanities and social sciences provide a means of examining the political, semiological, functional and representational implications of the perception and management of biological invasions. Whether in contemporary art or in the media, these biases of enunciation and perception are a key to understanding their very concrete and political impact.

Loïc Fe

Loïc Fel holds a doctorate in philosophy from the Institut d'histoire et de philosophie des sciences et des techniques (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). His research in the epistemology of science aims to define the changes in perception and aesthetics of nature brought about by the development of scientific ecology. Summarized in the essay L'Esthétique verte (Champs Vallon, 2009), his research continues to be the subject of publications such as Art et Écologie (éditions Palette, 2021). Convinced that philosophy cannot be summed up in research, and must be put into practice, he has been co-founder of COAL, a coalition for art and sustainable development since 2008, including an annual international prize, and four research programs Europe Créative, co-founder of Influence for good since 2017, a strategy agency dedicated to players in regional planning and industry transition.
