Created with the support of the Jean-François de Clermont-Tonnerre Foundation, the Biodiversity and Ecosystems Annual Chair aims to help advance research and enlighten debate on the living world, the environment and biodiversity, by inviting to the Collège de France leading figures whose scientific work is destined to be widely disseminated, including to the general public. This dissemination takes the form of lectures by the guest professor, free of charge and open to all.
