Annelies Lannoy

Postdoctoral researcher with the Fonds de la recherche scientifique - Flandres, in the Department of Philosophy at Ghent University. She works on the history of religious studies in Europe from the late 19th to the first half of the 20thcentury . Her current research project focuses on anti-Semitism and the epistolary networks of historians of religion. She has edited - in collaboration with Corinne Bonnet and Danny Praet - the correspondence between Franz Cumont and Alfred Loisy: "Mon cher Mithra." La correspondance entre Franz Cumont et Alfred Loisy, 2 t., Mémoires de l'Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres, 2019. She is the author of Alfred Loisy and the History of Religions. A study of the development of comparative religion in the early 20th century, Berlin/Boston, De Gruyter, 2020.
