During the 2014-2015 year, the incumbent taught a lecture entitled Will and Action and a seminar: Psychic Functions: Intuition, Representation, Judgment. Both titles express and articulate the elements of a single problem: that of classifying psychic and/or mental faculties and activities. For practical reasons, we have divided and distributed over two parallel series of lessons what is separated by some philosophers, but reunited by others and articulated by them in a single device in the form of a tripartition: representation, will, judgment. We have attempted to trace the history and genealogy of this tripartition, dealing in the lecture with will, and in the seminar with representation and judgment. The two series are therefore two halves of the same whole.
