To mark Brain Week, and at the initiative of the ChADoCs association of associate researchers and doctoral students at the Collège de France, take part in the "Operation Cortex"escape game created by Inserm and organized at the Collège de France on March 6 and 7.

Come and discover how the brain works, with the help of young neurobiology researchers from Collège de France. The game sessions, which last one hour and take place in groups of 10, are free and open to everyone aged 10 and over, subject to prior registration.

The year is 2064. After many years of research, scientists from the Collège de France and Inserm have perfected the perfect replica of a human brain, dedicated to health research. From the study of sleep and disease, to blood flow and sensory perception, this organoid offers exceptional prospects for advancing research by leaps and bounds, and thus improving health for all.

On the strength of this innovation, the Collège de France decided to open the doors of the laboratory housing the brain to the public.

Curious, you enter the laboratory. A researcher greets you and explains that, for the occasion, the brain itself has been set up to open the door of its room to visitors. As you enter the room opened by the brain, the researcher leaves to greet new visitors.

Suddenly, everything in the room shuts down. The brain's power supply stops and the laboratory door closes on you. A few seconds later, the emergency generator starts up and all the lights come back on, but the door remains blocked. It's clear to you now: the lack of power during the blackout must have reset the brain. Will you be able to reintroduce the organoid to all its knowledge and set its parameters so that it can open the door for you, enabling our researchers to improve health for all once again?
