There are currently 250 ChADoCs. The ChADoCs Association was founded in October 2009. Since its creation, it has been agreed that all researchers in the ChADoCs category are deemed to be members of the Association, unless they express a wish to the contrary.

The Association holds an annual general meeting. It is managed by a Board of around ten members:

On the one hand, this structure fosters convivial exchanges between researchers by organizing cultural and recreational events. On the other hand, it supports them in scientific projects that go beyond their own chairs and laboratories.
