Carlo Ossola

Carlo Ossola (Turin 1946) is Honorary Professor at the Collège de France, Chair of Modern Literature of Neolatin Europe. He is a member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei ; the American Academy of Arts and Sciences ; and a fellow of the British Academy. Recent books include Fables d'identité pour retrouver l'Europe (2018) ; "Nel vivaio delle comete. Figure di un'Europa a venire (2018) ; Les vertus communes (2019) ; Dopo la gloria. He edited and introduced the bilingual edition of the Divine Comedy in the Pléiade Gallimard (2021 ; reissued 2023).
