Maria Teresa Giaveri
Maria Teresa Giaveri, a member of the Accademia delle Scienze of Turin and the Accademia Peloritana, is Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literatures at the University of Turin, Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres and Viceroy-President of the Pen Club Italia. She has published several unpublished works by Paul Valéry, whose prose and poetic works she has also translated (Paul Valéry, Opere scelte, Milano, Mondadori, colI. I Meridiani, 2014). Her latest books include Colette, Romanzi e racconti, (Milano, Mondadori, coll. i Meridiani, 2000), Lady Montagu e il dragomanno (Vicenza, 2021 and winner of the Prix Montale 2022), Nei mari di Ulisse (Vicenza, 2023).
