Benoît Peeters
Benoît Peeters was born in 1956. His first novel, Omnibus, was published by Editions de Minuit in 1976. Since then, he has published some sixty books, translated into many languages. An essayist and renowned comic-book specialist, biographer of Hergé, Jacques Derrida, Paul Valéry and Alain Robbe-Grillet, he is also the scriptwriter of the celebrated Les Cités obscures series (in collaboration with François Schuiten). He willhold the ArtisticCreation chair at the Collège de France from 2022-2023.
