Abstract

In this talk, Pierre Courtiol presents three recent examples of deep learning applications in histology for cancer : prognostic prediction, genomic prediction and expert knowledge integration. He shows how the analysis of large histology images (100 000 pixels by 100 000 pixels) using weakly supervised deep learning methods can be used to build interpretable predictive models, thus providing new insights into tumor biology.
