Challenges 2019 results

In the first part, some of the winners of the 2019 Challenges present their algorithms and results:

  • Christophe Leroux, present winner of the challenges (i) "Prediction of daily stock movements on the US market" proposed by Capital Fund Management and (ii) " Decoding the brain " from the ENS Computational Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory ;
  • Hugo Touvron, winner of the "Detecting breast cancer metastases" challenge proposed by Owkin ;
  • David Atencia, winner of the challenges (i) "Prediction of consumption curves" proposed by Enedis and (ii) " Prediction of PM10 particle concentration" proposed by PlumeLabs ;
  • Florian Pothin and Morgan Riou, winners of the "Claims prediction" challenge proposed by Generali.

A prize-giving ceremony was held for the winners of the other challenges:

  • Armand Lacombe, winner of the "Deep sleep phase prediction" challenge proposed by Dreem ;
  • Laurent Deborde, winner of the challenges (i) "Prediction of Sharpe ratio of financial strategies" proposed by Napoléon AM ;
  • Lina Mezghani and Jean-Baptiste Sevestre, winners of the "Diagnosis of esophageal cancer" challenge proposed by Maunea Kea Technologies ;
  • Emeric de Monteville, winner of the "Valuation of options by non-linear interpolation" challenge proposed by Natixis ;
  • Mohamed-Haykel Zayani, French winner of the "Improving well-being in the workplace" challenge proposed by Oze-Energies ;
  • Yohann Le Faou, winner of the "Classifications of drug-related issues" challenge proposed by Posos ;
  • Clément Roussel and Arnaud Fanthomme, winners of the "Solving the Rubik's cube 2x2x2" challenge proposed by LumenAI ;
  • Winners not present for the "Prediction of electricity consumption" challenge by BCM Energy.
