As in previous years, the Collège de France awarded scientific prizes to researchers chosen for the excellence of their careers.
In 2024, the winners were :
- The Collège de France Award for Young Researchers 2024 goes to glaciologist Fanny Brun.
- The Claude-Antoine Peccot 2024 lecture was awarded to Omar Mohsen and Cyril Letrouit. Each year, this lecture at the Collège de France rewards young mathematicians under the age of who have distinguished themselves in their field.
- The Prix Lacassagne 2024 is awarded to Déborah Bourc'his, a biologist specializing in epigenetics. The Lacassagne Prize rewards the work and encourages the careers of young researchers in biology.
- The Delheim Award 2024 goes to Klervia Jaouen, a geochemist applying her discipline to archaeology. The Delheim Award is designed to encourage young biology researchers to work in the laboratories of the Collège de France on major challenges facing humanity.
- The Anna Caroppo Scholarship - Collège de France Foundation 2024 is awarded to Serena Causo, papyrologist. This fellowship supports talented young female researchers, enabling them to pursue their research training for a year with the Collège de France teams in the humanities and social sciences.
- The 2024 Collège de France Foundation Hugot Award went toFrançois Ceccaldi, political scientist and historian, and Pegah Pournajafi, mathematician.
The award was presented at a ceremony held onNovember 13 2024 at the Collège de France.
