International symposium in English. May 22 at the Collège de France and May 23 at the Institut Jacques-Monod.
The study of phenotypic diversity, adaptation and evolution in living organisms is currently undergoing a major boom, thanks to the combination of various approaches in evolutionary genetics and ecology. This conference will bring together researchers working at the intersection of evolutionary genetics and ecology to study the evolution of animals and plants.
The conference will review recent advances concerning the origins of animal and plant diversity. It should also establish new collaborative links between researchers from different disciplines. The poster session will be an opportunity to introduce invited foreign researchers to the research being carried out in France, combining evolutionary genetics and ecology. In keeping with the spirit of the Collège de France, the symposium will be open to all, free of charge and without conditions.
The symposium is organized in partnership with the Institut Jacques-Monod and Université Paris-Cité. With the support of the Fondation Jean-François et Marie-Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre and the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon.
