Achour Mostéfaoui is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Nantes, having previously been a lecturer at the University of Rennes 1. He obtained his DEA and PhD in Computer Science in 1991 and 1994 respectively. He was, among other things, director of studies for the engineering diploma in computer science and communication at the University of Rennes 1, and responsible for several masters degrees as well as the bachelor's degree in computer science at the University of Rennes 1 and the University of Nantes. Achour Mostéfaoui is also co-leader of the GDD (Distributed Data Management) research team at the LS2N laboratory in Nantes.
He is the author of over a hundred research articles and has served on the program committees of several international conferences.
