Dominique Sennelier

Education: secondary school, then business school; internships in chemistry applied to colors; academic year in London, internships with a color artisan.
1962: Joined Sennelier
1967: Works in color and varnish production and formulation
1969: Appointed managing director of Sennelier S.A.R.L. for both manufacturing and distribution.
Dominique Sennelier worked to develop the business of the two Paris stores: 3, quai Voltaire, where Sennelier color manufacturing began in 1887, and the Montparnasse store at 4 bis, rue de la Grande-Chaumière.
Since its foundation by grandfather Gustave Sennelier in 1887, the company has been handed down from generation to generation. Dominique Sennelier represents the third generation, and his daughter Sophie, the fourth.
