Abstract
How canthe DNA sequences of enhancerelements be recognized by the precise combinations of protein factors which, by binding to these sequences, enable the mechanisms described in previous lectures to be set in motion ? Is there a particular grammar, and if so, what is its Combinatorics logic ? Recent studies will be discussed that analyze this precise point through the use of deep learning, with the potential result of developing syntheticenhancer sequences that may enable new therapeutic approaches.
