Why and how can we treat our metaphysical delusions ?

The second lesson analyzed the extent and nature of metaphysical illusions, before proposing some remedies and assessing the effects of the therapeutic enterprise in philosophy. Emphasis was placed on the illusions of realism, which are all the more important to identify since a well-understood realism should be able to constitute the core of a correct response to the idealist threat. The various possible meanings of realism, the false realist paths that can lead us astray and, above all, the illusion represented by metaphysical realism were clarified.
