Abstract
This complex and intricate narrative makes the crossing of the Jordan the prerequisite for the conquest. The story includes the Ark of the Covenant, as well as priests and Levites. The links with the crossing of the sea in the Book of Exodus and the place of miracles in conquest narratives will be explored.
