Jörg Stolz is full professor of sociology of religion at the University of Lausanne. He is interested in social game theory, the theory of religious/secular competition and mixed methods. His topics include secularization, local religious groups, evangelicals and social representations of religion. Jörg Stolz is a former president of the International Society for the Sociology of Religion (ISSR). His research findings have appeared in the European Sociological Review, the British Journal of Sociology, L'Année sociologique and the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion.
