The Collège de France was honored to receive from its owner, Mrs. Surkhang, a set of private archives dating from the 17th century to the early 20th century.
These archives are gradually being restored and digitized, and will be the subject of research by Alice Travers, Director of the Centre d'études tibétaines at the Collège de France and researcher in Tibetan history at the CNRS (CRCAO, UMR 8155).
