The Fondation du Collège de France met with mathematician Stéphane Mallat, holder of the Data Science Chair and initiator of the MathAData project. This program offers high-school students the chance to tackle problems based on real data from public services, companies or laboratories, with the aim of helping to give meaning to mathematics.
The project is part of the Collège de France's Agir pour l'éducation initiative , which combines research and action in the field to put science at the service of schools and equal opportunities.
