Abstract

The aim here is to focus on the life of objects within the museum, to analyze what archives have to say about the evolution of hangings or the risks to which they are subjected in the galleries, to discuss the way in which museums take (or fail to take) account of the context in which works are created in their museographic arrangements, and to compare the practices of temporary and permanent exhibitions in their presentation.
