The Collège de France's International Chairs enable professors to be invited, by decision of the Collège de France Assembly and for a period of five years, who remain mainly affiliated with a university or research organization located abroad. They contribute to the renewal of the institution's scientific activities, enhance its international appeal, and provide an opportunity to develop scientific collaborations with major foreign partners.
