Abstract

Excavations of the ancient city of Terqa have yielded a modest quantity of texts, compared with its neighbor Mari, but they are spread over a slightly wider chronological arc, from the Shakkanakku period to the beginning of the Late Bronze Age, thus covering the whole of the Paleo-Babylonian period. An overview of this documentation, some of which is currently under study, will be presented in its archaeological context.
