Abstract
The cuneiform collection of the Hearst Museum in Berkeley still contains a significant number of unpublished tablets, particularly from the Paleo-Babylonian period. In collaboration with Mr. Viano of the University of Turin, a project to study and edit these tablets has just begun.
Particular attention is being paid to documentation from Diyala, and in particular to minor sites on the periphery of this region. Nevertheless, a significant number of pieces of undetermined provenance could find their place thanks to current data and the contribution of the ARCHIBAB project.
