We propose a comparative analysis of the positions of Thomas Aquinas and Immanuel Kant on the question of the original moral disposition of the human being. Despite the profound differences that separate the two thinkers, we will observe a certain convergence with regard to the profound structure of the moral life: man's moral development is founded on dispositions and laws which, articulated with his freedom, make him a person.
