Abstract
The history of art under Vichy and the Nazi Occupation has already been the subject of a great deal of research, in the form of books, articles and exhibitions. Returning to this period involves identifying historical objects that have varied considerably since the 1980s: history is indeed a human science, written according to our changing interests and mentalities.
