Jointly organized by the Campus de l'Innovation pour les Lycées and Sciences Po, this symposium invites us to reflect on artificial intelligence and the many challenges it poses. It is aimed primarily at first and final year students from priority education networks.
Philippe Aghion, Professor at the Collège de France's Economics of Institutions, Innovation and Growth Chair, will open the symposium with " The economic consequences of AI ".
Xavier Leroy, Collège de France professor in the Software Science chair, will address the following question : " How much confidence can we have in the results of AI ? Errors, biases and other risks ".
Suzanne Vergnolle, senior lecturer at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers, will talk about " The legal framework for artificial intelligence ".
Benoît Sagot, Director of Research at Inria and Visiting Professor at the annual Computer Sciences and Digital Sciences Chair at the Collège de France, will introduce us to " Deep learning, at the heart of modern AI ".
Jean-François Bonnefon, researcher at TSE, will close the colloquium with the following question : " Towards which society is AI and its filters leading us ? "
Each talk will last around twenty minutes, followed by ten minutes of questions. The colloquium will be moderated by Sarah Nicole, Policy and Research Associate at the Project Liberty Institute and President of Graine d'Orateur 93.
The symposium is reserved for the Campus de l'Innovation pour les Lycées audience.
