Abstract

The 8  mtelescopeat Cerro-Tololo in Chile, called Vera Rubin, is dedicated to variable phenomena. It will be able to observe the entire sky in 3 days, and will successively return to all fields with a periodicity ranging from seconds to days, and even years.
