Dendrimers and their therapeutic uses : innovative nanomedicine

In his seminar, Jean-Pierre Majoral showed how the new phosphorus-containing dendrimers he has developed in his laboratory over the last twenty years are nano-objects whose use is set to expand as therapeutic agents or vectors for active molecules. Unlike other dendrimers, whose low purity makes them unsuitable for therapeutic applications, Majoral dendrimers can be prepared to pharmaceutical industry standards.
