Abstract

David Reich has summarized his work on human history and prehistory. It has recently become possible to generate genome-scale data from human fossils, making it possible to answer questions that were previously impossible to address, including how peoples are related to each other and how human adaptation occurred over time. David Reich presented his findings in three chapters : Paleolithic encounters between modern and archaic human beings, and the settlement of Europe and India since the Neolithic.

Seminar in English.
