Abstract

We are not all equal when it comes to infections. Thanks to recent advances in genomics and data science, it is now possible to imagine a more precise medicine, better adapted to individual needs, also in the field of infectious diseases. From basic research to the clinic, exploring the differences inscribed in our genome enables us to better understand infections and fight them more effectively. We will take the example of HIV and the hepatitis virus  Cto explore the paths of translational research into the human genomics of infections.
