Abstract
The case of Habdu-malik is interesting, as this " prime minister " (SUKKAL), being mostly close to the king, left few letters and remains rather poorly known. Fortunately, this is not the case for the " ministers of the economy "(šandabakkum), successively Yasim-Sumu and Ṣidqi-epuh : their correspondence shows the care with which they managed the various royal estates in the Euphrates and Habur valleys.
