Abstract

In continuity with the previous lecture.

The lecture discusses liquid phase transitions in the presence of chemical reactions, following the approach proposed by F. Julicher's group. Emphasis is placed on non-equilibrium chemical reactions and applications to biological condensates. then discusses the dynamics of phase transitions in the presence of chemical reactions and the conditions that can lead to finite-size phases (active emulsions).
