Gianfranco Agosti is invited by the Collège de France assembly at the suggestion of Pr Jean-Luc Fournet.

These four lectures will offer a new vision of the concept of Hellenism and classicalpaideia in the literary production of Late Antiquity (late 3rd/6th century AD), while re-examining the modulations of its different voicesC.), while re-examining the modulations of its different voices : the relationship between prose and poetry, the interaction between Greek literature and local cultures, metrical inscriptions and their role in the dissemination of paideia, the redefinition of the relationship between high and low literature and the oral dissemination of culture.
