Mathilde Naar is a temporary research and teaching associate at the Religion, History and Society in the Ancient Greek WorldChair , which she joined in October 2024. A doctoral student in the history of religions and archaeology at the École Pratique des Hautes Études - PSL under the supervision of Gabriella Pironti (EPHE) and Claude Pouzadoux (UPN), her research focuses on divine associations and networks in the polytheistic systems of the ancient Mediterranean, particularly Greek. Her thesis, currently being written, explores the processes of linking gods and building networks in the language of iconography, using the case study of Apollo and his entourage in Attic ceramics.
