Maëla Paul

I graduated from École normale supérieure and Sorbonne University in Neurosciences major. I have always been fascinated by brain development and brain wiring specificity that is why I decided to join Dr. Fekrije Selimi's laboratory, specialized in the study of synapse development and plasticity. I joined the lab for my PhD in 2018. My PhD project focuses on the molecular mechanisms at the origin of the specificity of connections between neurons, a fundamental question to better understand the formation of a functional brain
