After graduating from high school in China, Jingjing Zhou arrived in France in 2013 for her higher education. After a year of studying in French, she completed her bachelor's degree in biochemistry at the University of Reims-Champagne-Ardenne, specializing in life and earth sciences. She then continued her studies at Université Claude-Bernard Lyon 1 (master 1 en science du médicament) and at Université Paris-Descartes master 2 (master 2 en science du médicament). A thesis student in biochemistry at the Collège de France's Chemistry of Biological Processes Laboratory, she is currently working on the biochemical and structural characterization of transfer RNA modification enzymes dependent on an iron-sulfur center.
