Presentation

David Simonetta is an associate professor of philosophy at the Lycée Léonard-de-Vinci in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge. He holds a PhD from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and was Professor Alain de Libera's assistant from 2013 to 2016. His research focuses on the relationship between noetics and the theory of knowledge from the late Middle Ages to the first half of the 18thcentury .

David Simonetta helped edit several of Professor Alain de Libera's manuscripts for forthcoming publications (2015) and was co-organizer of the May 21, 2014 study day: " Pro et Contra - journée d'études médiévales au Collège de France: Histoire de la philosophie et logique."
