Presentation

Translating science from the lab to the clinic has always driven my motivation when I was a student in medical school. I early enrolled the Ecole de l'INSERM Liliane Bettencourt, a research training programme for medical students.

My first lab experience was a 6-month internship at the Center for Pathophysiology of Toulouse-Purpan in 2014. Under the supervision of Roland Liblau, I studied the autoimmune mechanisms underlying the pathogeny of a murine model of narcolepsy.

In 2016, I obtained my M.Sc. in Neurosciences from the Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie and the Ecole Normale Supérieure. I carried out my master thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology in Munich, in Nadine Gogolla's team. Using optogenetic tools, I studied the role of the insular cortex in mouse anxiety-related behaviours.

After finishing my medical school in 2019, I decided to specialize in Neurology for my residency in Paris. I obtained my Medical Doctorate in 2022, with a thesis on the peripheral neurotoxicity of the targeted chemotherapy Brentuximab-Vedotin.

I am now starting my PhD in Nathalie Rouach's laboratory, where I will explore the contribution of astrocytes to neuronal plasticity, with two translational objectives: deciphering the pathogeny of neurodevelopmental disorders and promoting plasticity after brain damages.
