I am a PhD student in the H. Turlier lab "Multiscale Physics of Morphogenesis" at the CIRB at Collège de France. I am part of the AI4theSciences doctoral program at Université PSL, supported and co-funded by the European program Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-COFUND. My project will leverage deep neural networks to develop an algorithm to reconstruct the 3D morphology of the human embryo from 2D medical images, in order to improve the prediction of its development potential. Previously, I studied theoretical physics and statistical mechanics at Sapienza University of Rome. I worked on my master project in the laboratories of the Italian Institute of Technology in Rome, under the supervision of Prof. G. Ruocco and Dr. G. Gosti, in which I developed a new computational algorithm that was able to solve 2D and 3D puzzles using orthogonal polynomials as local shape descriptors.
