PhD Candidate (Doctorant) - Multiscale Physics of Morphogenesis (H. Turlier lab.)
I'm a PhD student in the Turlier team " Multiscale Physics of Morphogenesis " at CIRB, Collège de France. I'm part of the AI4theSciences doctoral program at Université PSL, supported and co-funded by the European Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-COFUND program. My project will use deep neural networks to develop an algorithm for reconstructing the 3D morphology of the human embryo from 2D medical images to improve prediction of its developmental potential. Previously, I studied Theoretical Physics and Statistical Mechanics at Sapienza University in Rome. I carried out my master's project in the laboratories of the Italian Institute of Technology in Rome, under the supervision of prof. G. Ruocco and Dr. G. Gosti, where I developed a new computational algorithm for solving 2D and 3D puzzles based on orthogonal polynomials used as local shape descriptors.
