Professor Carlo Ossola elected Corresponding Member of the British Academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences

The British Academy is the UK's national academy for the humanities and social sciences. It brings together some 1,400 of the most eminent teachers and scientists in their disciplines.

Professor Carlo Ossola, holder of the Chair of Modern Literatures of Neolatin Europe, was elected in recognition of his work in literary criticism, which covers a very wide range of periods and geographical areas.
